The Old Curiosity Shop の Daita Kimura 氏の全面的な協力によりイギリスで最も伝統的な靴屋のTRICKER’Sに、イギリスで最も前衛的な靴を作った 人の木型を持ち込み生産を開始した。

同時にベルトもイギリスのベルト屋のanglo leather で生産している。

基本的にどの製品も永く使用される製品でありたいと思う。

Quilp という名前は企画した物を総称してつけたもので、それ以上の意味は無い。

I’ve made this plan because of my belief to make leather shoes with favorite last of a reliable factory,
to make them for being worn usually.

Thanks to Mr. Daita Kimura from The Curiosity shop,
I’ve started to make products with a last that was made by a person who made the most avant-garde shoe in England,
in TRICKER’S that has been most traditional English shoe factory.
I’ve been making also leather belts with English famous belt factory, anglo leather.

Basically, I think all of products should have been using for a long time.

I named my products Quilp as a generic term, it means nothing more.

基本的に私たちは環境問題に気を配り、流行に流されない製品を作りをしてきた。
少しずつ経験を積み重ね改良を加え生産も拡大し、様々な顧客に対応できるようになった。
これからも新しいアイデアを積極的に取り入れながら、同じように製品を作り続ける。

1990年には„Boston Review” 、1994年には„Elle”で紹介された。
その他ポーランドの雑誌では毎年紹介されている。

From the very beginning {1989} we have used naturally processed leather and produced shoes, bags and sacks from this material. In general, the firm specializes in producing eco-fashion products.
We have been gradually extending our production and we have learnt by experience that our products sell permanently, regardless of changing fashion trends. Therefore, we believe it possible to sell them on a permanent basis.

Our shoes, sandals, backpacks and accessories are fine niche products handmade from high quality naturally (i.e. classically) tanned and dyed leather. It is worth noting that the naturally tanned leather is a niche product by itself. Our firm benefits from relatively low labor cost in Poland.

We can adjust the capacity of production to the needs of a small or even big customer, very fast. We are looking forward to establishing permanent cooperation and we would be grateful for the suggestions concerning new ideas for the products and the ways of advertising and marketing.

At the moment, we are expanding our sell in Europe. In the countries which we cooperate with TREK products have become renown for their unique style. The products’ simple design falls into line with the shoes practical function and with the characteristics of the material. Thus, simplicity and use – the designer’s first and foremost priority – determine the form.
We believe that Japan market will also be successful for us.

The first press article concerning our firm was published in „Boston Review” in 1990. Unfortunately, our copy of this is lost. It was written by Judith P. Knuth from Milwaukee. In 1994 one of our product was presented in „Elle” magazine. From that time on, we have seen our products presented in Polish fashion magazines every year.
